Clin Micro Open 2024

Aug. 22, 2023

The Clin Micro Open (CMO) is a forum that brings together laboratory and industry leaders to discuss current and potential issues affecting the future of diagnostic clinical microbiology. Our goal is to explore mechanisms to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate challenges. By exchanging ideas, engaging in informal networking and cultivating partnerships, we aim to ultimately improve patient care.

This dynamic 2-day forum will focus on Lab of the Future: "AI's impact on clinical labs", "Sample collection: where are samples collected and testing performed?" and "Current and future 'standard of care' in clinical microbiology practice". The participants will present the keynote talks, followed by roundtable discussions, with the intent of formulating recommendations for future activities or collaborations.
