ASM takes the opportunity to weigh in on actions the federal government, in partnership with stakeholders, can take to maximize the quality and effectiveness of the American research environment by addressing the White House National Science and Technology Council’s Joint Committee on the Research Environment (JCORE).   

Our comments focus on three areas of the RFI: (1) ensuring rigor and integrity in research; (2) fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable research environment; and, (3) strengthening the security of America’s S&T enterprise.
