Ally Hunter, Ph.D.

Ally Hunter, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral fellow in Biology Education Research at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a research analyst at the University of California, San Francisco. She received her bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1998, a master's degree in Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2007 and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2018.
Currently, Dr. Hunter is a course instructor in the integrated science concentration (iCONS) at UMass Amherst. She is conducting research on the variables that impact STEM career interest and success for incarcerated youth.
