Anthony Richardson, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his B.S. in Genetics & Bioengineering from Purdue University and his Ph.D. in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics from Emory University.

His research is primarily focused on the effects of immunometabolism on infectious disease outcomes, specifically in the context of infections caused by the gram-positive pathogen Staphylococcus aureus.
