Dr. Ashton Creasy-Marrazzo obtained her Ph.D. in public health with a concentration in environmental and global health at the University of Florida in May 2022. Her thesis involved elucidating how oxygen-tension impacts the expression of antimicrobial resistance in Vibrio cholerae. Creasy-Marrazzo is currently an ASM CPEP clinical microbiology fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
