Gail H. Cassell, Ph.D. is a Senior Lecturer on Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Cassell is the former vice president of Public and Scientific Affairs and a Distinguished Research Scientist for Infectious Diseases at Eli Lilly and Company. Her research focuses on Mycoplasma species and addressing multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
Dr. Cassell is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences and Medicine, and has served on committees for various agencies including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
