Jennifer Goff, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Goff is an environmental microbiologist whose research interests include microbial mediation of nitrogen and sulfur cycling, physiological responses of microorganisms to environmental stressors and the role of mobile genetic elements in genome evolution under high-stress conditions. Goff received her B.S. in biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014. Goff later obtained her Ph.D. in microbial biology from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2020.
