Juliana Ansari

Juliana Ansari is a microbiologist whose research has focused on host-associated microbes, from biofilms of oral streptococci, to intracellular tickborne pathogens, to plant root symbionts. She currently works with undergraduates, characterizing probiotic strains of Bacillus and Lactobacillus, and investigating bacterial adhesion and surface proteins.
