Julia Segre, Ph.D., is a Senior Investigator at the National Human Genome Research Institute within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Intramural Research Program and integrates computational analyses with clinical studies to investigate the human skin microbiome and genomic epidemiology. The Segre group works on genomic studies of bacteria, fungi and viruses, with a particular focus on Staphylococcal species, Candida auris and human papilloma virus.
