Namiko Mitarai, Ph.D. is an associate professor of biological physics and complex systems at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. After her Ph.D. in theoretical physics, she developed an interest in the amazing richness of biological systems. Mitarai's group is actively working on a wide range of research topics on microbial systems, including gene regulations, physiology and bacteria-phage interactions.
