Nicole Zimmerman, M.S., is the Senior Specialist, Federal Affairs at the American Society for Microbiology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public policy and economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She also received a Master of Science in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University.
