Sheyda Azimi, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral research fellow with the Center for Microbial Dynamics and Infection at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on understanding the effects of microbial population heterogeneity on pathogenesis, microbiogeography and host-pathogen interactions.
