Tatiana Pinto, Ph.D., is an associate professor of microbiology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her lab is focused on streptococcal diseases in maternal and infant populations, with special attention to Group B Streptococcus. Pinto has been an ASM member since 2010 and has been a volunteer in many ASM endeavors, including the ASM Young Ambassadors Program and the ASM Young Leaders Circle (YLC).
