Travis Kochan is a graduate student in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan. His doctoral research focuses on characterizing the mechanism of Clostridium difficile spore germination. Travis is president of the University of Michigan Organization of Microbiology and Immunology Students (OMIS) and serves on the department's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.
