Book a Room in the Official ASM/ESCMID Room Block

Deadline: Tuesday, Aug. 29

We have reserved a special block of rooms for meeting attendees at ASM/ESCMID. ASM will provide support only for reservations booked within the official room block at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

ASM is not responsible for hotel reservations booked outside the official housing block. Attendees who choose to book with an agency or hotel reservation site will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined for that reservation and outside ASM's control.

All reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis until Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023. After this date, the hotel will accept reservations on a space- and rate-available basis only. Room Rate: $339.

Getting to Boston

Sheraton Boston Hotel is in the historic Back Bay neighborhood and is directly connected to the Prudential Center and the Hynes Convention Center:

  • 20-minute walk from Boston Public Garden (1 mile).
  • 14-minute walk from the nearest MBTA Station (Back Bay Station).
  • 15-minute walk from Boston Common.
  • Under 5.4 miles from Boston Logan International.

Shuttle from the Airport

GO Boston Shuttle and Logan Express offer transportation to and from Logan International Airport for an additional fee.

Parking 

Valet parking is $65 per car daily. There is also an electric car charging station.

International Travel

ASM/ESCMID welcomes scientists from every part of the world. Attendees are not required to present a poster to attend the conference. Please allow ample time for visa processing, as the application process can take several months in some countries. Need a letter of invitation to participate? Download it here.

Registration Policies

Member Rates

Your ASM or ESCMID membership number must be included in section 1 for registrants to be eligible for member rates. Membership is verified through the online registration process. ASM reserves the right to charge the higher non-member rate without notification if a member number is not included or cannot be verified. Cancellation Policy

ASM will refund registration fees minus a $50 processing fee to paid registrants who submit a cancellation request to registration@asmusa.org on or before Aug. 22, 2023. No refunds will be processed after Aug. 22, 2023.  

Substitution Policy

Substitution of registration is permitted prior to the conference and onsite. Only 1 substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution, as well as updating any contact information. Registration name badges are not transferable between participants on-site.

Badge Policy

All conference attendees are required to wear conference badges on-site at all times.
