ASM will be discontinuing the Clinical Virology Symposium (CVS) as a standalone meeting in 2025. The CVS program will be integrated into ASM Microbe 2025 and future CVS programming will be developed within the new ASM Health meeting, which will be the evolution of ASM Microbe.

This consolidation will enable ASM to better serve the clinical virology community and the evolving needs of healthcare-related microbiology through the broader platform of ASM Health. Learn more about the alignment of CVS with ASM Health in the press release.

We are grateful for the enduring support of CVS attendees, Program Committee members and industry partners, and we look forward to expanding the program's impact within ASM’s dynamic new structure.
