ASM Expands Its Partnership With bioRxiv
Washington, D.C. - May 18, 2018 - ASM has expanded its relationship with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and now allows for preprint deposition directly to bioRxiv from ASM Journals. When submitting to an ASM Journal, authors may now opt to deposit their manuscript as a preprint in bioRxiv from the ASM Journals peer review system.
Since June 2016, authors have been able to submit their preprints directly from bioRxiv to ASM Journals. If the manuscript is accepted for publication the preprint is annotated in bioRxiv as accepted by the ASM journal.
“ASM Journals is committed to the growing trend to accelerate the dissemination of science and to support open and transparent collaboration. This expanded relationship with bioRxiv is one step ASM is taking to help achieve that endeavor,” said Pat Schloss, Chair, Journals Board, ASM
The ASM Journals now allowing for posting of research articles directly into bioRxiv include: Antimicrobial Agents Chemotherapy, Applied Environmental Microbiology, Infection & Immunity, Journal of Bacteriology, Journals of Clinical Microbiology, Journal of Virology, mBio, Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB), mSphere, and mSystems.
