ASM Microbe in Houston, Texas
Washington, D.C. - ASM’s mission is to promote and advance the microbial sciences. We are committed to supporting all ASM members to further their careers and develop the field of microbiology across the country and throughout the world. Our commitment to evidence-based science is unwavering, and this commitment can be seen in our conference programming.
We have heard from members that there are concerns about ASM Microbe 2023 being held in Houston due to Texas’ reproductive healthcare policies. We are currently working with health care experts and the city of Houston to understand the implications of these recent changes and will provide additional information once it is available. We are also working on providing attendees opportunities to engage with Houston’s scientific community.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting and engaging in these important discussions.
