This grant is designed to inspire non-doctoral level clinical and public health microbiologists to get more engaged in our profession by attending the ASM Microbe meeting. This grant will be used for the meeting registration fee and to help defray travel expenses.
Program DetailsDuring the meeting you will interact with a pre-assigned mentor, attend symposia, visit poster sessions, peruse industry-sponsored exhibits featuring the latest technological advances, have the opportunity to network with other clinical and public health microbiologists and learn more about the profession of microbiology
Professional Development Grant eligibility criteria are:
- Worked as a clinical or public health microbiologist in a clinical or public health microbiology laboratory for at least 2 and less than 10 years at the time of application submission.
- Non-doctoral level professional.
- ASM member.
- Never attended an ASM General Meeting or ASM Microbe meeting.
- Not participating as an author on a poster or giving any type of presentation at the 2020 ASM Microbe meeting.
