Beyond the Bite: (Re)Emerging Arboviruses and How to Diagnose Them

This webinar will focus on the epidemiology, clinical presentation and diagnostic testing of arboviruses causing a recent increase in human cases within the U.S. and internationally (CDC HAN Alerts 511 and 515). These viruses include dengue, eastern equine encephalitis virus and Oropouche virus.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recognize the clinical presentation and features of these arboviruses.
  2. Be familiar with recent epidemiological trends and exposures associated with these arboviruses.
  3. Understand the recommended approaches for the diagnosis of select arboviral infections, including optimal utilization of available molecular and serologic methods.
