On Friday, September 14, The Pew Charitable Trusts hosted FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb announced the agency’s approach to reducing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through antibiotic stewardship and innovation. Following Gottlieb’s remarks, a panel of FDA senior officials explored the agency’s new and ongoing activities, and took questions from ASM and other stakeholders in the audience.
