Dr. Alfredo Torres is the Herman Barnett Distinguished Professor in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is member of the ASM Education Board, Chair of the ASM Subcommittee for Minority Education and a presenter in the ASM Grant Writing webinar series.
