Eleanor Jennings, Ph.D. is a principal microbiologist at Parsons Corporation. Jennings is a Parsons subject matter expert specializing in environmental microbiology and biogeochemistry, as well as microbial biodegradation occurring in strongly anaerobic and extreme environments. She is an internationally-recognized expert in the area of molecular and isotopic techniques used to monitor and increase the efficiency of biological remediation, as well as used to perform forensic biogeochemical analyses.

Jennings has worked on contaminant remediation projects on multiple continents, and currently serves as the U.S. science advisor to the National Science and Engineering Council of Canada. She is also the Chair of the ASM Career Development Committee and is on the ASM Membership Board.
