Nikhil Kumar, M.S., is a microbiologist at the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Tobacco Products. He previously worked as a senior microbiologist at Canalysis Laboratories in Las Vegas, Nev.

Kumar received his M.S. in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and his B.S. in biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
