Rita Czakó Stinnett, Ph.D., MHS, is a molecular microbiologist with a Ph.D. in translational biology from Baylor College of Medicine and a master’s degree in international health from Johns Hopkins University. She is an alumna of the Laboratory Leadership Service (LLS) at the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC/NCIRD). Stinnett is passionate about innovation in molecular testing in the service of public health and clinical microbiology. She is currently the Senior Medical Affairs Manager for Infectious Diseases at Illumina.
