Apply to participate in the ASM Global Research Symposium on the theme, Decoding Microbial Systems, hosted in partnership with CSIR-IGIB from Sept. 29–Oct. 1, 2026.
All participation is application-based. Applicants may choose to (1) submit an abstract for consideration for a presentation or (2) apply to attend the symposium without presentation. All applications will be reviewed for subject-matter expertise, relevance to the symposium themes and to ensure a diverse and well-balanced cohort.
Selected applicants will be notified and invited to confirm their in-person participation by completing registration and making payment within the specified timeline.

Participants are advised to register only if they are certain of attending. The registration fee includes access to all scientific sessions, symposium materials and meals. Accommodation, travel and visa expenses are not included. Registration fees are non-refundable. View FAQs for more information.
