Introducing ClinMicroNow, the All-New Online Microbiology Resource
Washington, D.C. – August 10, 2020 – The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and Wiley have launched ClinMicroNow, an all-new, online clinical microbiology resource that saves users time through deep searches and periodic updates. For the first time ever, this dynamic resource brings together 3 of ASM’s gold standard clinical microbiology texts: Manual of Clinical Microbiology (MCM), Clinical Microbiology Procedures Handbook (CMPH) and Cases in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases – all merged online to create ClinMicroNow for fast and easy access.ClinMicroNow presents comprehensive knowledge of pathogenic and clinically relevant microbes, current microbiology procedures and protocols and rich case study and contextual information. The product is created specifically to meet the needs of clinical microbiologists as students, researchers and laboratory professionals.
“ClinMicroNow is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. This new product is an important tool for busy clinicians, students and microbiologists and it allows them to quickly and efficiently research pathogenic microbes," said Karen C. Carroll, M.D., co-editor-in-chief, Manual of Clinical Microbiology.
ASM and Wiley began a multi-faceted partnership in August 2019. As the official copublisher and distributor of the ASM Press titles, Wiley became ASM’s exclusive print and digital sales and distribution partner of the existing backlist of ASM Press titles as well as new titles.
