The National Institutes of Health is working to update its strategic plan for 2027-2031. The strategic plan framework proposes 3 priorities: research areas, research capacity and research operations. NIH intends to update, rather than replace, its 2021-2025 strategic plan. This town hall covered how ASM members and their institutions could provide input on the strategic plan and help inform ASM’s response to the plan.
