ASM hosted a webinar with staff from the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology (NSCEB) to discuss the commission’s recent report and policy recommendations for the future of biotechnology. The report recommends major U.S. investments in biomanufacturing infrastructure, biological data and the scientific workforce to maintain U.S. competitiveness and protect national security. NSCEB staff Keely Mui, Nathan Dinh and Sam Weiss Evans presented the report recommendations, moderated by ASM member Megan Damico.
